OUR STORY

Why We're Called "The Closet"

Growing up, whatever my kids wanted that I didn't have, their yiayia always did. It never failed. Now, my grandkids find things at my house that their own parents don't have  the cycle just keeps going.

I almost called this place "the pantry." It felt right at first. But then I remembered exactly what would happen: the kids would get into it, and turn everything inside into a dress-up game. So "the pantry" became "the closet" instead a place you go to find whatever you're looking for, kept by someone who somehow always seems to have it.

What You'll Actually Find Here

I have a real chef's kitchen at home, and I love it good tools, small appliances, and the ingredients I grew up with. That's where our Greek pantry line comes from: oregano, olive oil, and spices sourced from the Mediterranean, the same way my own family has always kept them.

But I'll be honest with you  not everything in this closet is from the old country. Importing directly from Greece isn't something I can do for every product.  So alongside the pantry, you'll find kitchen tools, seasonal essentials, apparel, and accessories, all chosen the same way: with care, and because they're genuinely worth having.

Our Mission

To be the place people come to first  not because we claim to have everything from everywhere, but because everything we do carry was picked the way Yiayia would pick it: with care, with an eye for quality, and with the person receiving it actually in mind.

Thank you for stopping by the closet. We're glad you're here.
